Lidia Sierpińska, Master of Science in Nursing, Doctor of Medical Sciences. Specialist in public health and in the field of epidemiological nursing. She has 33 years of experience as a Head nurse in the Military Clinical Hospital No.1 with Polyclinic, Independent Public Health Care Unit, Lublin, Poland, and 14 years as the Plenipotentiary Commander for quality management systems. She was an adjunct for 18 years at the Radom School of Higher Education in the nursing specialty. She was the National consultant for defense in the field of nursing for 16 years and a Member of the Bioethics Committee for Scientific Research for 6 years at the Medical University, Lublin. Also, she has three years of experience as a Research and didactic employee at Vincent Pol University in Lublin in the nursing specialty. Many publications have been done on issues concerning quality management of medical services and the problems of hepatitis C as a risk factor for hospital-acquired infections.
